Whitebeam

The Whitebeam (Sorbus aria) is a species native to southern Europe, belonging to the Rosaceae family. It is a hermaphrodite tree with a straight trunk and an ovoid crown that can reach 3 to 20 m in height. The leaves are oval, 5 to 12 cm long, finely serrated, green on top and covered with white hairs on the underside.

This species makes the forest stronger and more resilient, which improves the health of the entire plot by promoting biodiversity. Its expected profitability is linked to the logging of the stand where it grows.
